Terms and Conditions

We kindly request all clients to read and understand the following Terms and Conditions before confirming their booking. These policies are designed to ensure clarity and fairness while building a foundation of trust and mutual understanding between Lanka Unveiled and our valued travelers. By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge that you have reviewed these conditions and agree to abide by them.

General Terms

All cancellations, amendments, or special requests must be submitted to Lanka Unveiled in writing through email. This ensures proper documentation and provides a clear reference for both parties. Telephone conversations or verbal notifications will not be considered valid unless they are also confirmed in writing.

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed within 14 working days from the date of approval. Refunds are always subject to applicable bank charges, service fees, and the policies of our partner suppliers. Customers are encouraged to retain payment receipts for reference when following up on refund status.

We kindly remind our travelers that confirming a booking is an acknowledgment of these Terms and Conditions. It is the responsibility of each traveler to read them carefully and to seek clarification from our team if anything remains unclear.

Package itinerarys

We understand that every traveler is unique, and so is every journey. That’s why this itinerary is fully customizable to suit your preferences, travel style, and flight schedule. Whether you’d like to adjust the activities, upgrade or include special experiences such as cultural tours, adventure activities, or private dining, we’re here to make it happen. Just let us know your interests and requirements—we’ll tailor the trip to ensure it’s perfect for you.

Cancellation by the Customer

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise which may alter or disrupt travel plans. To balance flexibility with fairness, we provide the following cancellation policy for all standard bookings:

  • More than 30 days before travel date: A full refund will be issued, less any service fees or bank charges.

  • 15 to 29 days before travel date: A refund of 50 percent of the total booking value will be provided.

  • 7 to 14 days before travel date: A refund of 25 percent of the total booking value will be provided.

  • Less than 7 days before travel date or in the event of a no-show: Unfortunately, no refund will be possible.

Partial cancellations, such as reducing the number of travellers in a group or removing a segment of the tour, may be subject to the same conditions above. We encourage travellers to notify us as early as possible to maximise refund eligibility and to allow us sufficient time to adjust arrangements.

Cancellation by the Agency

At Lanka Unveiled, we are committed to honouring all confirmed bookings and delivering unforgettable journeys. However, in rare and unavoidable situations beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, public health emergencies, or supplier cancellations, we may need to cancel or alter a tour. In such cases, our clients will always be offered one of the following solutions:

  • A full refund of payments already made

  • An alternative tour or package of equal or greater value, depending on customer preference and availability

Whenever such changes become necessary, we will communicate with our clients in a transparent and timely manner. Our priority is always to minimise inconvenience and to ensure that travellers feel fully supported throughout the process.

Non-Refundable Services

Certain bookings may be strictly non-refundable based on the terms set by our partner suppliers. These often include:

    • Airline tickets, particularly those purchased under discounted or promotional fares

 

    • Hotel reservations during peak holiday seasons or special events

 

  • Special promotional packages or limited-time offers

All non-refundable conditions will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. Customers are strongly encouraged to review these carefully before making payment. To further safeguard against losses, we recommend obtaining travel insurance that specifically covers cancellations or non-refundable services.

Amendments and Rescheduling

We recognise that sometimes adjustments may be required after a booking is made. To accommodate such changes, the following policies apply:
  • Amendments or rescheduling requests can be made up to 14 days before the scheduled travel date, subject to supplier availability

  • Any difference in price between the original booking and the amended booking must be borne by the customer

  • An administration fee or amendment fee may apply to cover the additional costs involved in making these changes

Amendments requested with less than 14 days remaining may not be possible; therefore, we recommend making such requests as early as possible to ensure smooth arrangements.

Additional Notes

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travellers purchase comprehensive travel insurance. Insurance can cover cancellations, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and other unforeseen events which may fall outside the scope of these Terms and Conditions.

Force Majeure

Lanka Unveiled cannot be held liable for the inability to provide services in circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, strikes, government actions, and any other events classified as force majeure.

Customer Responsibility

It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure that they possess all valid travel documents, visas, and health certificates required for their journey. Failure to secure the necessary documents may result in denial of service without refund.
